  • All of our nannies are carefully selected professionals with at least two years of full-time childcare experience. They’re fluent in English or Spanish (many are multilingual), are CPR and First Aid certified, and have verified professional references, have undergone identity-, police-, and social-media checks, and in-person interviews before they become part of our team. Many also hold university degrees, are a licensed teacher or nurse, and/or have had child development training.

  • Yes! Many are bilingual or multilingual, perfect for families seeking language immersion or support in more than one language. Let us know your preference during your intake.​

  • Each nanny goes through a thorough vetting process to ensure a high standard of safety, reliability, and alignment with our values:

    • Background, identity, and police checks

    • Social media screening

    • Verified professional references

    • In-person interviews

    • CPR & First-Aid training for children and babies

    • Ongoing training and monthly check-ins

About Our Nannies

Family–Nanny Matching & Support

  • Absolutely. Let us know which service you’re interested in and we will inform you about the process of changing your nanny.

  • After your intake fee (€100), we’ll match you with a nanny you feel comfortable with. Once matched, you can schedule a trial day(s) to ensure the fit is right.

  • A Flexible Nanny is for short-term or occasional support, with no contracts involved. You simply use the services from a nanny from our team and pay us per-hour. A Long-term Nanny is for consistent care (3–6+ months) for your family which starts at 10h/week, where we help you with the nanny match and setting up a contract between you and the nanny. It covers full legal support, and offers a structured, committed solution to your childcare.​

  • Yes; with the Long-term Nanny service, we manage payroll, contracts, and ensure legal compliance with Spanish employment law. All so you’re fully supported and secured of your nanny.​

Scheduling & Customization

  • Yes, all our services are built around your needs. Whether you need morning drop-offs, afternoon pickups, weekend support or a full-time nanny, we’ll tailor a solution that fits.

  • We invoice you monthly based on agreed minimum hours. Extra hours are added to the next month’s invoice. It’s simple and flexible.

  • We understand that nannies may need time off due to illness or personal reasons. To anticipate such cases, with our Flexible Nanny option we match you with both a Primary and a Supporting nanny so you’re never left without support. If both are unavailable, we’ll arrange a temporary replacement for seamless care.​

  • Definitely. Our Flexible Nanny service is perfect for short-term stays or a holiday in Barcelona. No contracts, no admin. Reliable care when you need it.

  • No problem! She will get paid her usual hourly rate and extra expenses will be covered by you as a family.

  • Any expenses related to your child's care during outings, such as meals, tickets, or activity fees, should be covered by the family.
