NEW PARENTS WORKSHOP: DAILY CARE

Master the daily care routines that become the rhythm of your early weeks: with confidence, not anxiety.

Daily care tasks — diapering, bathing, soothing — can feel intimidating with a newborn before you've done them. This workshop gives you hands-on guidance and demonstrations so you know what to do and why.

We demonstrate bath time step-by-step (safety, temperature, technique), show diaper changing best practices, teach soothing approaches for unsettled babies, and help you understand what your baby is communicating. These are the skills you'll use multiple times every single day.

Led by Sasa, who makes these tasks feel manageable rather than overwhelming. Small groups mean you can ask about your specific concerns and see demonstrations clearly.

What You'll Cover:

  • Diaper changing from start to finish: how often to change, what rash looks like versus normal redness, and preventing problems before they start

  • Bath time step-by-step: how warm the water should actually be, how to safely hold a slippery baby, and creating a calm routine (not a stressful one)

  • Soothing techniques for when your baby is fussy: what to try, in what order, and understanding that sometimes babies just need to cry while you hold them safely

  • Umbilical cord care until it falls off, and what's normal versus what needs a call to your pediatrician

  • Trimming those tiny, sharp fingernails without fear, getting clothes on and off without pulling too hard, and handling your baby with confidence

  • Understanding what your baby is communicating: different cries, body language, and responding in ways that build your connection

  • Creating daily routines that work for your family's rhythm, not someone else's perfect schedule
