Learn feeding techniques that help you feel confident, whether you're breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or both.
Feeding your baby is one of the most frequent tasks you'll do in those early months, and one where parents have the most questions. This workshop gives you practical, evidence-based guidance on techniques, troubleshooting, and building confidence.
We cover breastfeeding approaches (latch, positioning, common questions), bottle feeding techniques (pacing, choosing nipples, reading cues), understanding feeding patterns, and most importantly, recognizing when feeding is going well versus when to seek help from a lactation consultant or pediatrician.
This isn't about promoting one feeding method over another. It's about giving you the knowledge and skills to feed your baby with confidence, whatever approach works for your family.
What You'll Cover:
Getting breastfeeding started: what a good latch looks and feels like, positioning that works for your body, and troubleshooting common early challenges
Bottle feeding techniques that help your baby pace themselves, choosing nipple flows that match their age, and understanding what they're telling you during feeds
Decoding your baby's feeding cues: the difference between rooting hunger and comfort sucking, and what cluster feeding actually means for your day
Making combination feeding work if you're doing both breast and bottle: timing, supply management, and practical strategies
Knowing when feeding is going well versus when you need help from a lactation consultant or pediatrician: the signs that matter
Pumping basics if you're planning to return to work: when to start, how often, and storing milk safely
How your partner can be actively involved in feeding, whether you're breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or both

Build confidence in how you approach your baby's sleep: safely, sustainably, and without overwhelm.
Sleep is oftentime one of the most discussed topics for new parents. This workshop cuts through conflicting advice and gives you evidence-based, practical guidance for your baby's first 3 months. We help you understand realistic newborn sleep patterns, navigate day/night confusion, and create sustainable routines that work for your family. No sleep training promises, no guarantees of "sleeping through the night" — just honest, practical preparation.
Led by Sasa, who has neonatal ICU experience and understands both what current research shows and what actually works in real homes with real babies.
What You'll Cover:
Setting up your baby's sleep space safely: demonstrating how to check mattress fit, position your baby correctly, and create an environment that meets current safety standards
What newborn sleep actually looks like in those first weeks and when patterns start to shift
Swaddling techniques and when to transition to sleep sacks — plus how to know if your baby is ready for the change
Why your baby seems to have day and night confused, and practical approaches to help them adjust
Creating a sleep environment that works: the role of temperature, darkness, and white noise in your baby's room
Understanding which sleep patterns are normal development versus when it's time to talk to your pediatrician
Building a sustainable approach to sleep as a team: how you and your partner can support each other through exhausting nights

feeling confident in caring for your newborn
Preparing for your baby involves two essential parts: understanding what products you need (find more about that here) and learning how to care for your newborn with confidence.
Led by Sasa, who has neonatal ICU experience and years of experience supporting new families, our workshops cover the practical care techniques you'll use from day one: safe sleep setup, feeding approaches, daily care routines, and understanding your baby's cues. Each workshop is designed to give you practical knowledge and build your confidence through demonstration and discussion. All workshops welcome both parents—this is preparation you can do together.
These workshops prepare you — not with anxiety about everything that could go wrong, but with knowledge and skills that help you feel capable.
Important Note: Our workshops provide educational support and evidence-based care practices based on extensive newborn experience. This is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. For medical concerns about you or your baby, please consult your pediatrician or healthcare provider. We help you understand when professional medical evaluation is appropriate.

Absolutely. Every workshop includes dedicated Q&A time, and we encourage questions throughout the session. Small group sizes ensure everyone's questions are addressed, how big or small they may be.
-
Workshops are small-group sessions (in-person or online) focused on teaching foundational care practices through demonstration and discussion. Consultations are private, one-on-one sessions tailored entirely to your specific questions and situation. Many parents find value in both: workshops for foundational learning, consultations for personalized guidance.
-
No. Workshops provide educational support and evidence-based care practices based on extensive newborn experience. For medical concerns about you or your baby, please consult your pediatrician or healthcare provider. We help you understand when professional medical evaluation is appropriate.
-
We schedule all our workshops on weekends so both parents can attend together without work conflicts. We know that preparing for your baby is something you probably want to do as a team, and weekends make that possible.
Weekend workshops also mean you're learning when you have more energy, not at the end of a long workday. You can focus completely on the session, ask your questions, and have time afterward to discuss what you've learned together.
Our 2-hour format gives you comprehensive guidance in a single session, so you don't need to commit to weeks of evening classes or worry about missing important information if your schedule changes. You get everything you need in one focused morning or afternoon, from the comfort of your own home.
